STL import and STL export file in AutoCAD

There is a method to import and export STL files (Stereo Lithography) in AutoCAD. To import and export STL files directly in AutoCAD environment please follow the step by step procedure below.

1. STL import file operation in AutoCAD is possible with STL2CAD - Import STL AutoCAD application. In the result of stl import process with STL2CAD application you can get 3d solid, polyface mesh, faces, lines or points.
2. STL export file operation in AutoCAD is possible with STLOUT native AutoCAD command or advanced STL4CAD - Export STL AutoCAD application. STL4CAD application extends STLOUT command with the possibility to export multiple AutoCAD drawing objects like faces, polyface meshes, polygon meshes and solids.
